Lotte World Adventure
(Indoor and outdoor Dynamic Theme Park in Seoul)
Lotte World Adventure is a theme park located in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Location
Lotte World Adventure is located in Songpa-gu, Seoul. This is one of the most famous theme parks in South Korea.
It is directly connected to Jamsil Station (Line 2 and Line 8), Exit 4, making it easily accessible by subway.
Lotte World Adventure Inside Theme Park
Lotte World Adventure features both indoor and outdoor attractions and is part of the larger Lotte World complex, which includes a shopping mall, hotel, museum and ice skating rink.
This place features a wide range of attractions — from thrilling rides that adults will love, to themed rides and gentle ones perfect for kids.
There are also attractions inspired by popular games like Battlegrounds, offering fun for everyone.
One of the highlights includes a balloon ride suspended from the ceiling, creating a magical experience for younger visitors.
Lotte World also hosts a variety of colorful festivals that change with each season, keeping the excitement fresh all year round.
One of the signature events is the Lotty Attraction Festival, a lively parade that delights visitors every day.
If you’re visiting with children, you can make their day even more magical by stopping at the Sharon Cat Dress Shop.
For a fee, kids can dress up in princess costumes and join in the fun—turning an already memorable visit into a truly enchanting experience.
Lotte World Adventure Magic island (Outdoor Theme Park)
Lotte World Adventure’s Magic Island is a theme park located in the middle of a lake.
At its center stands the Magic Castle, which resembles the iconic Disney castle, making you feel as if you’ve stepped right into a fairytale world.
Magic Island is packed with exciting rides that adults will love.
One of the most iconic is the Gyro Drop, which plunges riders from a height of 70 meters at a speed of 94 km/h.
There’s also the Gyro Spin, a thrilling ride that swings back and forth while soaring through the air.
But the most popular attraction in Lotte World is Atlantis—a unique ride that combines a roller coaster with a flume ride, offering an intense rush of adrenaline and non-stop excitement.
If you want to cut down on wait times, I highly recommend the Magic Pass Premium.
This pass, which costs around 10,000 won per ride, comes in 5-ride and 7-ride options.
You can purchase it in advance or at on-site kiosks. With this e-ticket in hand, you can skip the lines and head straight to the attractions—making your day at the park much more enjoyable.
Loty & Lorry Bread
At Lotte World Adventure’s Magic Island, you’ll find a must-try snack called Loti & Lorry Bread, named after Lotte World’s beloved characters, Loti and Lorry.
It’s a delicious bun filled with stretchy, gooey cheese—perfect for cheese lovers like me!
It’s one of my personal favorites, so I highly recommend giving it a try during your visit.
Night View
Lotte World stays open until 9 PM on weekdays and 10 PM on weekends and holidays, so you can enjoy the fun well into the night.
In the evening, various light-based shows and parades take place both indoors and outdoors, so I recommend checking the schedule and catching a few.
You can also enjoy beautiful night views of the ice rink and Korea’s tallest building, Lotte World Tower, which is located right next door.
One of the most iconic photo spots at night is the Lotte World carousel.
Before you leave, make sure to snap a picture there—it’s a must!
There are even professional photographers on-site who can take photos for a fee, so if you’re visiting with friends or family, it’s a great way to capture a special memory.
