This restaurant is a renowned restaurant that has been featured multiple times in the Michelin Guide Seoul.
It is a long-standing favorite among Koreans, loved for generations.
I also have fond memories of visiting Myeongdong with my parents as a child and enjoying the delicious food, making it a truly traditional and beloved dining spot
The menu includes Bibim Guksu, Kalguksu, and Mandu, each offering its own unique flavors.
Kimchi
The only side dish served at Myeongdong Kyoja is kimchi.
Known for its bold garlic flavor and slight spiciness, this kimchi pairs perfectly with the warm and savory kalguksu, enhancing the overall dining experience with its crisp texture and rich taste.
Kalguksu
Kalguksu (Handmade Knife-Cut Noodles):
A signature dish of Myeongdong Kyoja, this warm noodle soup features thick, chewy noodles made by hand, served in a rich chicken-based broth with a hint of garlic.
It is accompanied by minced meat and vegetables, offering a comforting and hearty meal perfect for any season.
Bibim Guksu
Bibim Guksu (Spicy Mixed Noodles):
Thin wheat noodles served cold and mixed with a spicy, tangy red pepper paste-based sauce.
Topped with fresh vegetables, this dish delivers a perfect balance of heat, sweetness, and savory flavors, making it a refreshing yet flavorful choice.

I highly recommend trying Kalguksu and Mandu when you visit.
Each one showcases the authentic flavors and culinary tradition that Myeongdong Kyoja is famous for.
The Bibim Guksu, with its cold and spicy flavor, may be a matter of personal preference, as some might find its bold taste either delightful or too intense.
